Khan the Hero

Khan was found lying next to a stream, alone and abandoned. He was completely paralyzed.

Someone had abused him and left him to die. This poor dog was experiencing more pain than any dog should. But he would not give up.

   

Rescuers took him to a veterinary clinic, where he received all the medical treatment he needed, along with lots of love, care and affection. He could not lift himself up, stand upright or even sit, but this brave dog was wagging his tail the whole time.

Staff named him ‘Khan’ because of his fighting spirit. Little by little, and with a lot of help from the medical team, Khan became stronger.

 

Until, eventually he could stand up again. He even learnt to walk, slowly, with a leash from the beginning.

In the end, Khan beat the odds and was trained to walk again. He managed to overcome the biggest obstacle when everyone thought he would die.

 
Khan was adopted into his forever home and loves going for walks with his new humans.
